Attack of the Random Thoughts

Random Thought #1

I'm back in Taft, Tennessee at the home of my friend John Gibson. We left on a weekend excursion earlier this afternoon with James McCray and Zach Blaine, and now I'm sitting at a computer desk in a house in a small rural town while National Treasure plays on the television behind me. It will be a day long remembered. It has seen the end of Kenobi and will soon see the end of the rebellion ... oh crap I drifted into random thought numero dos.

Random Thought #2

Today I finished reading Matthew Stover's novelization for Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. All I can say is that I'm stunned. This next movie is going to shock and awe everyone who goes into it, but beyond that, Stover's work is a work of art. He is definitely one of the most thoughtful and philosophical novelists I have read before. If you choose to read it, which I recommend that you do, I highly recommend that you consult James Sire's The Universe Next Door because you will be encountering eastern pantheistic monism. But seriously, read it.

Random Thought #3

Tomorrow brings a day filled with recruting for Boyce and seeing Brent Gambrell again. Yes, it's definitely going to rock.

Random Thought #4

Another one bites the dust. My fourth semester of school is over and I am now a Junior. I wonder if this is what Nirvana feels like. It feels good to be done, and it feels good to think about this fall too. I'm pretty pumped about the classes I will be taking, but for now, I'm done. Good night blogger with love.
